DOUGLAS COMPLEX RECOVERY COALITION - FOREST REHAB
The Mission of this group is to assist the BLM in meeting its objectives under the O&C Act, to provide for the economic stability of the counties while maintaining a sustained yield from the O&C Lands. The focus of the group is to return the fire damaged lands to their sustained yield capacity in accordance with accepted forestry practices for the Klamath Physiographic province and in a manner to reduce fire risk to the lands, as well as, adjoining private and public lands.
“A course of non-action towards snag removal and fuels management imposes a serious risk to valuable resources, habitat, water quality, air quality and the taxpayers of Oregon.”
